Fusion & 41

#41 from William Hartz on Vimeo.

Every month we run a coffee/arthouse called “Fusion” where we open the doors for anyone who is interested to come in, have some food and drink, listen to some music, play some games, and hang out and get to know each other. In addition, we really want to focus on the arts and so dedicate a significant part of the floor to art creation through a variety of mediums, whether they be paint, sculpting, sketching, drawing, or anything else you can think of. We’re always trying to add more forms of art in which people can express themselves in.

One thing we also do is have some live musical entertainment as often as we can. I try to book some small bands to come play a few songs and hang out. We also want to start opening a mic up for people to come perform or share their talent on stage in the future. Anyway, Romulo and company wanted to perform at this past month’s event, a back-to-school themed night. They did four or five songs, and we recorded them. This is a cover of #41 by Dave Matthews Band. We tried recording the audio direct from the mixer, and while it’s not as perfect as I would like, it didn’t come out half bad.

Pictures will be posted to Flickr soon, and make sure you check the above video out in HD.

On this day…
