iPhone App Bonanza

As a follow up to my friend, Adam’s, post about which iPhone apps we use… here are some screencaps from my iPhone of all the apps I have installed. Upon the posting of this blog entry, these screens will probably be out-of-date as I have a small obsession with the App Store and am [...]

iPhone security

I was reading my RSS feeds yesterday and found out something new about the iPhone software in an article from The Unofficial Apple Weblog. (story link: Six things I learned from losing my iPhone 3G ).
Most people know that if you enter an incorrect passcode into an iPhone a certain number of times in a [...]

iPhone 3.0

Apple announced today the new iPhone 3.0 software update scheduled to be unleashed into the wild in summer 2009. I’ve had an iPhone for over a year now, and I love it. It’s the best phone I’ve ever had. There have been several things lacking, though, in the past from the phone. [...]

Of Twitter apps

What’s that? You still don’t know what Twitter is? Come now, how is that possible?
For the uninitiated, Twitter is a microbloggish social network website-mobile phone combo thingamajigger…. Yeah. Basically, it’s a communication tool that connects you with people down the street or across the globe, asking one [...]

Lessons on being who you are

The Voicemail from William Hartz on Vimeo.
For some reason I tend to get a lot of “wrong number” phone calls. In fact, I just got one last night, after making this video. I don’t quite understand how someone can call my number, listen to my voicemail that says my name and in my [...]

iPhone 2.0 Jailbroken before it’s even released?!

Well, this is simply amazing. The iPhone 3G is being released tomorrow at 8am local time across the globe, but early this morning it was noted by the Mac geeks that the software was actually on the Apple servers today and available to download. So, if you feel like doing it manually, you [...]

A story I heard the other day…

I am somewhat hesitant to post this. I feel that, after it is all written, I will come off as insensitive and an overall jerk. This is not my intent. I just think that, despite the circumstances of the story, it has a twist at the end that must be told for [...]

AT&T, month 1

I got my first phone bill from AT&T. After one month with the iPhone, my text rate has exponentially increased. I used 7912 texts and over 200Mb of data in just one month, the first month with my iPhone. Is that sad or awesome? I’m leaning towards the latter.

iPhone Pro, here and now?

Jimmy sent me this video today from a recent Diggnation where Kevin Rose talks about rumors of a possible iPhone hardware upgrade coming “very soon.” He mentions 3G support, something everyone expects and is waiting for. He also speculates the possibility of a video-chat capable iPhone with a second camera in the [...]

iPhone Wish List

So I’ve had my iPhone for about two weeks now. It is by far the best phone that I’ve ever owned. There’s something about the touch features that just feel right. It’s very intuitive. The keyboard, though initially was a bit difficult to figure out how to use, is actually very, [...]
